New Locations – New Adventures!

This was my second year taking pictures of this adorable family. I learned quickly after meeting them the previous year that they were up for whatever I could throw at them. So, when I mentioned taking them to try out a new location this year, they were more than willing.  We ventured north to a historic farmhouse that is part of Monocacy Battlegrounds and took some cute pictures on the porch and around the house.  

However, that’s not where the adventure ended!  The Park Police showed up near the end of the photoshoot and found us on a trail that was closed! BUT…the closed sign was on the other side of the trail opposite of where we had entered.  After some apologies and promises to pay more attention to the signs posted, we got a warning and went on our way. I think both the family and myself could easily say that is the first time to get a warning from a Park Ranger!
