How Often Should You Get Professional Family Photos?

A lot of people get family photos every year, some every other year, and then there are some like this wonderful family who hadn’t had any taken in 15+ years. I told them it was definitely time to get a new photo over the mantel, so we ventured out (luckily after a storm, not during) and took pictures of this lovely couple, their three grown children, their fur-baby, and oldest brother’s girlfriend.  Mom and Dad got engaged in this same location, so we had to get some photos of the two of them alone as well!
